Pastor Scott Nichols

 As Lead Pastor of Gospelife Church, Scott’s ministry loves are expository preaching, developing young leaders, coaching and encouraging local pastors, and evangelism. He is married to Vicki, and they have three grown children (Brooke who is married to Phil, Isaiah who is married to Faith, and Nate who is married to Shayna) and five precious grandchildren!

Scott grew up in Mishawaka, Indiana. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theological Studies from Southwest Baptist University, a Master of Arts in Ministry from Moody Bible Institute, and his Doctor of Ministry at Southern Seminary. In 2001, Scott and Vicki along with a committed group of thirty-five people planted Crossroads Community Church, renamed to Gospelife Church in 2022. Today, Gospelife is a growing multi-site congregation with two thriving campuses.

In his free time, Scott enjoys reading, watching old movies, St. Louis Cardinals baseball, playing basketball, and working on projects around the house. His desire is to multiply gospel blessings around Chicagoland, and his joy will be to finish well for the Lord Jesus Christ.
