We believe God created the local church to be a spiritual family that fulfills the great commission and provides community, accountability, and growth for the believer.
Church membership identifies me as a genuine believer (Romans 12:5; Ephesians 2:19).
Church membership provides a spiritual family to support and encourage me in my walk with Christ (Hebrews 3:12-14; 10:24-25).
Church membership makes me accountable for spiritual growth (Ephesians 5:15-16, 21; Philippians 2:1-4; James 5:13-16, 19-20).
Church membership provides a place to discover and use my gifts, experiences, and passions in ministry (Romans 12:3-13; 1 Corinthians 12:1-13:13).
Church membership places me under the spiritual care and protection of godly leaders (Acts 20:28-29; Hebrews 13:17; 1 Peter 5:1-4).
Protect the unity of the church by living a holy life, acting in love toward others, refusing to gossip, and respecting church leadership. Loving churches produce loving Christ-followers.
Share the responsibility of the church by praying for its health, inviting others to attend, and welcoming those who visit. Healthy churches produce healthy Christ-followers.
Serve the church by developing a servant’s heart and using spiritual gifts to serve. Committed churches produce committed Christ-followers.
Strengthen the church by worshipping regularly and participating in a small group faithfully. Growing churches produce growing Christ-followers.
Support the church by giving cheerfully, generously, and regularly to further our mission. Generous churches produce generous Christ-followers.
We encourage you to take the next step toward membership at Gospelife Church by attending Growth Track. Growth Track is a 3-week journey toward getting to know our church. Completing Growth Track is required before becoming a member at Gospelife.
